About IMII
THE ORIGINS OF IMII
Our founder wanted to create this brand for the people who inspired her. By making it clear through its name that this brand was theirs before it was hers. Convinced that every individual is extraordinary, she wants, through her clothes, to unleash their potential by offering freedom of movement and strengthening their confidence. IMII thus means: "Inspiring and Motivating Incredible Individuals."
Furthermore, the name IMII also incorporates the initials of Iris Mittenaere, as well as the three "I"s present in her first and last name.
Our products are designed in France and manufactured in Turkey. All our factories have social certificates and are subject to regular audits, thus guaranteeing their compliance with our ethical standards.
OUR COLLECTIONS ARE DESIGNED IN FRANCE AND MADE WITH LOVE IN TURKEY ♡
Why choose Turkey?
Our collections are manufactured using cutting-edge seamless technology, which requires advanced expertise and management by specialized engineers. Currently, no factory in France is capable of producing our collections using this technology. This is why, like many major international brands (especially in the United States), we have chosen Turkey, renowned for its expertise in seamless production.
IMII's Commitments
IMII is committed to ensuring transparency and ethical practices within its global supply chain to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking. As part of this commitment, IMII fully supports the Transparency in Supply Chains Act, as well as the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015. Below is a summary of the measures taken by IMII regarding audits, internal accountability, and training. For more information on the company's organizational structure and its approach to social responsibility, please contact IMII's compliance team at: wecare.imii@gmail.com.
Verification Process
IMII is committed to maintaining rigorous ethical standards throughout its global supply chain, ensuring that, in accordance with a zero-tolerance policy, modern slavery and human trafficking are completely absent from its operations. In this regard, IMII requires all its suppliers to comply with its compliance criteria, which address forced labor and human trafficking, including through direct and indirect employment (e.g., the use of labor brokers).
Certification
As part of its agreements with its suppliers, IMII requires all suppliers to certify their compliance, particularly that the materials used in manufactured products comply with laws relating to slavery and human trafficking in the countries where they operate.
IMII considers non-compliance with its Code of Conduct on slavery and human trafficking to be a serious violation by suppliers. In such cases, IMII requires affected suppliers to immediately implement corrective action plans to address identified non-compliances. IMII collaborates with these suppliers to conduct a thorough root cause analysis until the non-compliance is resolved and confirmed by follow-up audits. If a supplier fails to resolve the non-compliance, they will be subject to a disengagement process, resulting in their removal from IMII's list of approved suppliers and the termination of the relationship with that supplier.
Internal Accountability
IMII has implemented an internal compliance program to ensure that IMII employees, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders strictly adhere to IMII's code of conduct by providing adequate certifications.
Non-compliance with IMII's Code of Conduct regarding slavery and trafficking is considered a zero-tolerance offense.
Consequences: IMII provides a comprehensive range of sanctions for employees or contractors found guilty of violating IMII's Code of Conduct. Repeated violations or failure to remedy previous violations may result in more severe penalties, including verbal and written warnings, and, ultimately, termination of employment.
Non-Retaliation Policies: IMII enforces strict non-retaliation policies to protect individuals who report concerns or violations in good faith.
